Entrepreneur!

I do not choose to be a common man. It is my right to be uncommon… if I can.

I seek opportunity… not security.

I do not wish to be a kept citizen, humbled and dulled by having the state or a corporation look after me.

I want to take the calculated risk, to dream and to build, to fail and to succeed.

I refuse to barter incentive for a dole; I prefer the challenges of life to the guaranteed existence; the thrill of fulfilment to the stale calm of Utopia.

I will not trade freedom for beneficence or my dignity for a handout. I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat.

It is my heritage to stand erect, proud and unafraid, to think and act for myself, to enjoy the benefits of my creations and to face the world boldly and to say:

This… I have done.

All this is what it means to be an entrepreneur.

When you really read this quote again you will realize it has nothing to do with EGO. It is all about determination.

It is all about choices. There are people on this planet that I just never want in my space. Sometimes I have to tolerate them, (Family) but in general I just walk away.(You can choose your friends but you cannot chose your family)

It is all about what one wants for oneself. I could never work for a boss because I would inevitably fire him. I know of many people who are the stars of the show and the bosses take all the glory and the credit?

To work for oneself must be the most difficult thing to do as it takes determination, guts, toil and sweat. Very few people have the courage to do so. I know of many friends and people who, if they just had a bit more faith in themselves, and or could see as an outsider what I see (potential) they could work for themselves and know that every bit of energy they put out into the universe comes back to them.

It is not nice to wake up –unemployed – every morning but it is just so much fun to take the day and make something of it rather that sit in front of a desk changing time for money and letting other people decide your worth as a being.

REMEMBER – you will be brought in front of GOD one day and He will ask you….. Sooooo my dear, what did you do with the talents I gave you??

Talents are gifts of the spirit. We all mistakenly think of talents as physical abilities. These type of talents are cool when we need to get on with life in general and make a "success" of it either financially or to gain glory and honour. Those things wont impress God.

Everything that you cannot take with you, all that is earth-bound is meaningless to God. Only that which happens with and through your spirit is important.

Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'

Do not strive to make lots of 'bread' - rather listen to what God has to say in your heart. That is food for the soul.

PS: Sorry about the ego thing. I realise now that I did not read it the right way. It is good to have determanation as long as you know which God you are serving - right?
