Quitting

“The first step is to have the courage to take the risk of failure. I will tell you now that there will be some extremely low points, but you have to be very sure in your mind that QUITTING will not be an option.”

We are our own worst enemy. Sometimes we don't even have to wait for someone else to trip us up because we are so good at doing it ourselves.

Learning this lesson is not always enough either. We need to learn to recognise the ways in which we trip ourselves up before we can sidestep ourselves.

Change every negative into either a positive or when that is impossible then at least into a neutral.

Chin up.

Thanks, you say all there is to say. But, how many people lead lives of quiet desperation and know what it is that they need to do but stay put in jobs that do not serve them? relationships that do not serve them?

There is more “security” In knowing that your husband is going to come home at 4pm today and beat the crap out of you than taking the bold step into the unknown wilderness and finding something better for oneself that one deserves.

Are we programmed to take the route of least resistance or are they choices we make?

As my business partner says…. We are a sick and perverted species.

Not all of us - thank goodness!

Least resistance is always a choice. So is freedom.

Freedom of choice is something you exercise, just like muscles. It hurts like hell when you overdo it also...
